However, she was there just to fight Nikki Bella and Naomi. In the Battleground's pre-show, she had the opportunity to play Naomi. Ariana won the match. The result led to their feud. They took on tag-teams as well as handicap matches during the summer. Throughout the summer of Ariana fought alongside other wrestlers Alicia Fox Paige Bella Twins as well as Asuka.
